Mobile Chip & Pin Vouchering Service
EMP is pleased to announce the launch of its mobile chip and pin vouchering service.
This will quickly deliver money-off vouchers, tickets or receipts to mobile phones. Each one has a unique security code that the user or shop assistant types directly into a chip and pin unit.
Enable your customers to redeem vouchers directly into retail chip and pin (EPOS) units quickly and easily.
So How Does It Work?
In simple terms, the scenario works like this:
1. Send an SMS or take a photo of an ad that is offering 15% off retailer’s products in store.
2. Send the photo or SMS to 80880 and receive a mobile voucher with an 8 digit voucher code.
3. Walk into retailer's shop, pick your products and show your voucher at the checkout.
4. They enter the code and you automatically get 15% off, redeemed at the till.
EMP have the portable EPOS units that the retailer can use or we can integrate with your in-store EPOS (A major electrical store and music store in the UK have already done this as have many others). EPOS integration is very simple taking only days to complete.
Redemption / vouchers can be for a % discount off the item, 2 for 1, tickets, purchase receipts, entry fees, free products...
EMP's chip and pin service bridges the gap between mobile marketing and mobile-oriented ecommerce as it allows retailers to redeem voucher value directly into their retail accounts.
